How to Get Noticed
Getting Noticed
Tradeshow experts all agree you have to make your display booth stand
out, but they
disagree on exactly how to do that.
I have been to many tradeshows and have seen booths that were so bold
you couldn't
miss then from across the hall, while other took a more subtle approach.
I've even
seen booths with gimmicks. One such booth had the Super Bowl playing on
his television.
He'd even gone as far as to have chairs set up for his visitors?
pleasure. There
are hundreds of ideas on how to attract attention. At another show I
attended,
a booth down from me had fresh coffee they were handing out in ceramic
cups with
the company's name, logo and all of their business location printed on
the cup.
Another display held a lottery, where they collected business cards and
on the last
day gave away a nice prize.
All of these ideas are great. I've even used a few. The main idea is you
have
to attract attention no matter if it's from an alluring give away, a
bright and
colorful display, or even the Super Bowl. However, once you do get the
attention
you have to hold their attention and you also must have a way to leading
your customers
back to you once the tradeshow is finished.
One way of accomplishing this is to develop an online survey, where
those who partake
in it will win another prize. Your customers will then have to register
on the
company Website.
