Follow Up with Your Leads
Follow up Promptly
No body likes to be ignored. The sad fact is that the majority of
tradeshow leads are never re-contacted. I may be old fashion, and on
this, I take a page form my Grandmother's book on etiquette. She always
told me to responded to an invitation, gift, or visit within five days.
I have learned that by re-contacting and responding to my tradeshow
leads within five days, have paid off greatly. My contacts remember me.
By waiting weeks, you risk the chance of the contact growing cold.
Recently, I ran into an old friend just coming back from a show. He
said, "The show isn't over until the follow-up is complete". I wonder if
he knew my Grandmother.
